WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Riverbank Elementary took home top honors for the second consecutive year in the annual Academic Math Bowl.
Riverbank Elementary's team competed against Springdale Elementary on Feb. 5. The two teams were cheered on by fellow students, teachers, families, friends and others.
Riverbank team members include students Eric Floyd, Kasey Quinn, Preston Lord, Evan Church, Addison Adkins and Caleigh Holman. The team is coached by Brooke Jones and Brandon Brantly.
The two teams emerged from a series of math bowl competitions that began in the fall among fourth-grade teams representing six Lexington Two elementary schools.
