2024-2025 school supply list, plus orientation/open house dates

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- The School Supply List for the 2024-2025 school year is out in English and Spanish.

 

In addition, we've got orientation and open house information:


-Orientation: Thursday, July 25, Early Bird Registration 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Also, 5K Immersion Orientation, 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 1; 4K Orientation, throughout the day Wednesday, August 7; Countdown to Kindergarten, 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31

-Open House: 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Monday, August 5

 
 
Kindergarten:
 
  • 2 Lysol or Clorox wipes
  • 1 Baby wipes
  • 1 Hand Sanitizer
  • 1 box of snack size Ziploc bags (girls only)
  • 1 box of quart size Ziploc bags (boys only)
  • 1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex
  • 4 boxes of Crayola crayons
  • 6 Elmer’s glue sticks
  • 1 pack of black expo markers (chisel tip)
  • 1 pack of black expo markers (fine tip)
  • Headphones (over the ears, no earbuds or bluetooth)
  • Bookbag (no wheels)
 
 
1st Grade:
 
  • 8 glue sticks (Elmer’s small school glue sticks/disappearing purple) 
  • 1 pack of pre-sharpened pencils 
  • 2 tub (75 count) of Clorox Wipes 
  • 2 boxes of tissues 
  • 1 hand sanitizer – 12 oz. or larger 
  • 1 pair of headphones (no earbuds please) 
  • Girls: 1 box quart-size slide-lock Ziploc bags 
  • Boys: 1 box snack size bags
 
2nd Grade:
 
  • 8 glue sticks (Elmer’s small school glue sticks/disappearing purple) 
  • 1 pack of pre-sharpened pencils

4th Grade:
 

  • 1 Pack Notebook Paper 
  • 2 Clorox Wipes
  • 2 packs of 24 Pencils #2 (sharpened)
  • 2 Boxes of Kleenex
  • 3 Ring Pencil Pouch
  • 2 Pair of Headphones                                 
 
 
5th Grade:
 

Please bring the items below on the first day of school.

  • 1 Pencil Pouch
  • 1 box EXPO Markers (4-8 in a pack)
  • 2 Large Boxes of Tissues
  • 1 Disinfecting Wipes
  • 1 Hand Sanitizer
  • 1 pack of Sharpened Pencils
  • 1 pack of Highlighters
  • 1 pair of Headphones/Earbuds (no wireless/Bluetooth)

  *Supplies will be stored in the homeroom classrooms
